Healthy teeth not only enable you to look and feel good, they make it possible to eat and speak properly. Good oral health is important to your overall well-being.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; color: #999999; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>In between regular visits to the dentist, there are simple steps that each of us can take to greatly decrease the risk of developing tooth decay, gum disease and other dental problems. These include:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; color: #999999; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Brushing thoroughly twice a day<\/span>:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><strong style=\"color: #999999; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; line-height: inherit;\">Brushing removes food particles and plaque from your mouth, making teeth look cleaner and breath feel fresher.\u00a0<\/strong>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; color: #999999; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>-Brush with a fluoridated toothpaste at least twice a day.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; color: #999999; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>-Use a good quality toothbrush with a small angled head. Unfortunately it can\u2019t reach plaque and food\u00a0between teeth and under the gum line. Daily flossing will keep plaque from building up\u00a0in these hard to reach areas.
